故宮11日下午驚傳火警，後方山區突然燃起大火，台北市消防局獲報後，立即派出31名消防隊員前往滅火。
據媒體消息報導，國立故宮博物院在11日下午2點多傳出火警，起火地點在鵝尾山步道旁，燃燒面積約300坪，警消爬了30多分鐘才到達起火點。
由於山壁十分陡峭難以救火，且無鄰近水源，只能用打火把滅火，約經過3個小時才將火勢完全撲滅，推測應是雜草燃燒引起大火，幸好無人員傷亡。
