我國男網第一好盧彥勳與印度搭檔沙朗，今天闖進美國網球公開賽男雙第三輪，兩岸黃金女雙組合謝淑薇/彭帥也以2：1力克對手，闖進第三輪。盧彥勳表示，「今天比賽打得並不順手，跌跌撞撞，還好結果令人滿意。」

這是盧彥勳自2009年以來，再次打進美網男雙16強。

謝/彭今天的女雙對手來頭不小，2009年法網女單冠軍俄羅斯庫茲妮佐娃 (Sevtlana Kuznetsova)/2011年美網女單冠軍澳洲史托瑟 (Samantha Stosur)組合，兩人都擁有大滿貫賽女單冠軍背景，但謝/彭的默契更好。

謝/彭贏球關鍵在失誤更少，雙方非受迫性失誤比為43：25 ，謝/彭良好默契與穩健打法是最後可以勝出關鍵

盧彥勳/沙朗（Divij Sharan）今天花了2小時27分鐘，才以6：4、5：7、7：6（7：2）擊敗對手，打進16強。
