【羅惠齡／台北報導】2013年亞職大賽定11月15日在洲際球場展開，主辦的中華職棒聯盟今揭示大賽主標題：「GLORY　榮耀亞職」。中職除冠軍隊，將再派一隊參賽，11月15日首戰由中職第二隊出戰日職冠軍隊。
 
比賽自11月15~20日在台中、桃園球場開打，共6隊參賽，中職派出兩隊，日、韓職棒冠軍隊，以及澳洲職棒冠軍遊騎兵隊(Canbberra Calvary)，由於中國隊退出，聯盟改邀請歐洲棒球聯賽冠軍義大利波隆那隊(Fortitudo Bologna)參加。
 
本屆大賽總獎金新台幣3300萬元，冠軍獎金1500萬元、亞軍800萬元；打進複賽兩隊各得400萬元，未能晉級複賽的兩隊各有200萬元。
 
分組情況：
A組：中職冠軍隊、韓國職棒、波隆那隊
B組：中職第二隊、日本職棒、遊騎兵隊
